The San Juan River is the border between Costa Rica and Nicaragua, a territory that seems far from both countries, somewhat forgotten, but where some of the most important pages of the history of the two peoples has been written.
I came to this place attracted by the stories of pirates, of the first interoceanic passage, of travelers like Mark Twain, for the desire to set the stage for the stories in the history books and to see what it is now.
I found myself going through a place that seems to be taken from the limit between sleep and wakefulness, a stage full of "realismo mágico".
We are currently in the postproduction stage of the project, thanks to the support of Fondo ProArtes de Costa Rica.
